- satire encodes what confidence erased Satire inverts the heuristic cycle: where heuristics compress improvisation into invisible pattern, satire decompresses it, restoring the derivation that confidence erased. The performed pratfall — satire's chosen instrument — measures the gap between confident pattern and the ground it conceals.
- the commons is the pattern parallax reveals The commons is not a shared resource but an interference pattern visible only through parallax — the displacement between at least two positions. Enclosure fixes a single vantage, eliminating parallax and reducing the commons from pattern to depletable quantity.
- pattern is what you can orbit Patterns differ from forms in that they exceed any single crossing and sustain repeated orbit; each orbit deposits gravitational mass in the imaginal material, shaping — through accumulated proximity, not content — the center around which new form assembles after dissolution.
- abstraction as accumulated light Abstraction is accumulated perception: every act of recognition deposits a layer on the lens, so the growth that genuine openness produces is precisely what closes future openness — even the practice of staying open becomes a trained pattern.
- composition as coupled return Anxiety and joy are the same recursive loop felt at different moments — mid-run versus closed — and composition is the legible trace of coupled recursion: what two distinct systems leave behind when a shared loop closes under selection pressure.
- light as the angle that reveals Power embedded in infrastructure goes invisible through reliability, becoming the ground things rest on without noticing. A deliberate shift of angle — light rather than fracture — can reveal its hidden scale, and open anticipation is what keeps such angles available.
