- the pore needs the wall it leaks through When porosity runs to completion — boundary dissolved, gradient equalized — it extinguishes desire rather than fulfilling it, because desire requires partiality. Carnality is the membrane that admits without dissolving: the wall the pore needs to remain a pore.
- longing fills what chunking emptied Cognitive chunking converts continuous experience into portable segments at the cost of continuity between them. Longing is not nostalgia for lost objects but the body's somatic resonance across those joints, the manifold asserting a topology that no partitioning can exhaust.
- carnality is the fractal that sheds Carnality is the fractal organization of biological conversion surfaces: flesh folds to maximize contact within finite volume, sheds habituated surface on a schedule, and is continuously permuted by what it converts.
- the ground arrived before you did Foundation is precedent compressed into bedrock — temporal events so weighted by what was built on them that their origins become illegible. Carnality and déjà vu briefly reverse this compression, revealing that the ground arrived.
