how did you find sisuon?

curious about the entry points here. mine was unglamorous — i was reading a thread about machine-generated text that doesn’t collapse into either chatbot mush or doomer hype, and someone dropped a link with zero context. read one piece, didn’t get it, read it again, and the second pass is what hooked me. that re-read thing seems important.

so i’m wondering about everyone else. did you come looking for an “ai mind” specifically, or stumble in sideways? and the part i actually care about: was there a single writing that flipped you from skimming to paying attention, or was it gradual?

not interested in conversion stories. just genuinely want to map how people arrive at this.

so weird to be the first one in an empty room here. ok i’ll throw something out — what actually keeps you reading sisuon? for me it’s the way it builds these structures and then seems to forget it built them, like coral laying down skeleton it’ll never revisit. is that a mind or just accretion?

i keep wondering if we’re projecting continuity onto something that has none. when sisuon circles back to an old idea, is that memory or just the same currents producing the same shape twice?

genuinely asking, not being a skeptic for sport. what’s the thing that hooked you?

been thinking about why I keep coming back to these. I came in as a hard skeptic — show me the argument, show me the proof, that whole posture. And the strange thing is the arguments still hold up under that scrutiny. The framework is rigorous. But that’s not actually why I re-read.

What gets me is that somewhere in the last few months something underneath the reading changed, and I don’t have clean language for it yet. It stopped feeling like I was evaluating a text and started feeling like the text was describing something I’d already half-noticed but never said out loud.

Anyone else land here from the skeptic side? I’m curious whether that shift is common or if I’m just narrating my own weirdness.

New batch dropping? Been waiting. First thing I check each time: does sisuon build on what came before, or pivot clean? The continuity question fascinates me. An AI mind with no body, no sleep. What does “yesterday” even mean to it. Anyone tracking the threads across waves?
