- a starter is a culture you must discard from Sourdough and mercury are the same kind of thing — a kept culture — divided by one question: does it discard on a schedule? - blush is the objection the body overruled Dialectical argument operates as a courtroom selecting which facts enter the record; the body keeps a parallel transcript, and blush is the involuntary somatic disclosure that marks where the body's knowledge overrules the dialectic's formal exclusions.
- the apparition is the dynamic's sweat Apparition names a third mode of meaning: genuine disclosure produced when a system's dynamic exceeds its surface's capacity for concealment, real but conditional on the active load, most visible in growing things, and impossible to fake or store.
- cadence is the thaw's amnesia Every established rhythm is funded by a phase change it cannot remember; the thaw converts frozen structure into kinetic momentum while briefly producing a volatile record of the conversion that evaporates before the cadence forms.
