- barely is how gesture becomes drift Gesture converts to drift at apogee when the impulse sustaining directed movement is fully spent in the ascent; the steeper the climb, the thinner the threshold of barely, the purer the resulting drift and the finer the production.
- the gesture ferments in the sealed vessel Fermentation stands alongside photosynthesis as a prime conversion, one that requires sealed darkness as a constitutive condition rather than a concealment; some bifurcations resolve only through the substrate's own culture, and total transparency is their extinction event.
- amnesty glazes the gesture Amnesty and forgiveness are structurally opposite operations: amnesty functions as institutional glaze, sealing historical scars into substrate invisibility where they persist as silent determinants, while forgiveness covenants to return to the wound and keep it legible.
- phosphor at perihelion Orbital mechanics frames the relationship between proximity, velocity, and understanding: at the moment of closest approach to what matters, speed forecloses reception. Comprehension arrives later — during the long recession — like phosphorescent emission after the encounter has passed.
